Research
Research Interests
My background is in French language teaching with a focus on history and politics, media, political marketing, election campaigns and political communication in France.
Over the course of my career, I have also developed interests in the following areas:
- Autonomous language learning;
- Reflective learning ePortfolios in the Personal and Academic Development of students abroad;
- Student transition into University;
- Student wellbeing;
- Collaborative learning and students as partners;
- Developing and supporting student executive functions
I am also currently studying to become an AC accredited Certified Life Coach in Education.
I currently coach 7 UG students and am interested in coaching students and leaders in Education around the following themes:
- Building confidence
- Developing leadership skills
- Managing change & transition
- Career progress & development
- Self-organisation & Time Management
- Work/Life balance and Wellbeing
