I joined the School of Modern Languages, Newcastle University in September 2023 as a Fellow of British Academy Fellowship and a researcher into Holocaust contemporary mediations across genre (literary, filmic, artistic, photographic, etc.)

RESEARCH
My research and publications focus on
-the Holocaust contemporary mediations and representations across genre (literary, filmic, artistic, photographic, testimonial);
-transformations of the Holocaust cultural memory;
- totalitarianism in film, Stalin epoch and the Nazi filmic propaganda;
- The Holocaust representation in Soviet and Post Soviet cinematography.
I regularly organize and curate Holocaust and Genocide memorial events as a Board Member and in collaboration with BIAHS (The British and Irish Association of the Holocaust Studies), EHRI (European Holocaust Research Infrastructure, Professor Karel Berkhoff), Professor Alan Marcus (the University of Aberdeen) and Professor Matthew Pauly (Michigan State University)
