Background
Background
After graduating with a Licence LLCE (Langues, Littératures et Civilisations Etrangères) from the University of Pau, France, I came to Newcastle University to complete an M.Litt in English literature. I then continued with a PhD in French literature entitled ‘Monstrosity in post-1990 French Women’s Writing’. Throughout my postgraduate studies at Newcastle, I taught French language and literature in the School of Modern Languages, where I was appointed Teaching Fellow in French Studies in September 2017.
