Background
After studying German and History and gaining the equivalent of an MA from the University of Lausanne (French-speaking Switzerland), I qualified as a language teacher and subsequently held teaching in different schools and universities in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
I started teaching French at the School of Modern Languages in 2008, became Teaching Fellow in 2017 and Lecturer in 2019. I have taught French language at all UG stages, with a particular focus on and interest in the second year language module FRE2061, for which I am module leader. I have also been actively involved in the University Wide Language Programme (UWLP) since its creation in 2013 and was appointed as its Director in July 2018.
