After graduating from the University of Oral Roberts, OK, US in 2010 with Cum Laude, I went on to complete a MA in Translation Studies at the University of Durham, UK where I graduated with a Merit. Following this I went on to complete a BA in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Vigo, Spain, with English, Spanish, Galician and French as my working Languages.
To continue my academic career as an educator I completed a Master Degree in Education at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, UNED, Spain. Before completing my PhD, I received training on research methods by completing a PG Certificate in Research & Innovative Learning at the University of Newcastle, UK, where I graduated with honours: Distinction. To complete my education, I have fulfilled the requirements to become a Doctor of Philosophy at the School of ECLS at Newcastle University.
I am interested in research around students’ attrition, interpreting, and language around and used in sport.
Additional work I conduct includes translations (ES, EN, IT, FR, PT & GZ) and conference interpreting (EN-ES).
