Our Social Science Response to Covid-19
Social Scientists at Newcastle University are leading the way in responding to the societal challenges of Covid-19
Researchers at Newcastle University are focusing on the diverse social challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. Research activity ranges from a focus on ‘livable’ domestic spaces under pandemic conditions to tackling modern slavery in the supply chain during the pandemic – researchers are exploring the needs of refugees in the context of Covid-19 while colleagues also focus on aspects such as health inequalities, small businesses and student experience.
The Institutes have been working together on supporting researchers throughout the pandemic, you can read more about these activities here.
