My job responsibilities include:


Travel

  • Collate University wide data on travel as part of the annual EMR submission
  • Maintain the travel pages on the Sustainable Campus website
  • Develop and support sustainable travel choices for colleagues and students


Biodiversity

  • Establish a campus wide biodiversity baseline
  • Chair Newcastle Biodiversity Group
  • Maintain the biodiversity page on the Sustainable Campus website
  • Continue to protect and enhance biodiversity on campus


Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

  • Internally audit EMS processes, procedures and operations to help maintain the University's ISO 14001 internationally recognised accreditation.
