Women in Sustainability Careers Exploration Workshop

Devonshire Building, Room G.21, G.22

Join us for an inspiring and informal event designed to support women in all their diversity—including cisgender women, trans women, and non-binary people comfortable in a female-centred space—as they explore careers in sustainability. Through expert-led panel discussions, guided conversations, and networking, you’ll gain valuable insights into sustainability-related roles, the skills required, and how they apply across different industries.

What to expect:

  • Panel discussions – Hear from experts on current sustainability topics and career paths.
  • Guided conversations – Engage in small group discussions with sustainability professionals.
  • Networking opportunities – Connect with experts and students, with LinkedIn QR codes available.
  • Practical takeaways – Leave with action points to develop skills, grow your network, and explore career opportunities.

Hosted in collaboration with the Women in Sustainability Network, the event is open to all Newcastle University undergraduate and postgraduate students. Spaces are limited and registration is required, so sign up now and take the next step towards a meaningful and impactful career!
