About Newcastle Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Centre
The Newcastle Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Centre grant provides infrastructure support for the delivery of early phase clinical trials and also development and development and delivery of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic biomarkers. We have established teams of senior team scientist researchers in both these areas who can support people developing projects and setting up trials. We also have funding for scientific PhD positions and through the Clinical Academic training programme clinical fellowships, again for PhD completion.
