How to find LIVE Music in King's Hall

Armstrong Building

All lunchtime concerts and student performances in the Live Music programmes take place in King's Hall, Armstrong Building.

For access to the King’s Hall, enter the Armstrong Building via the main front entrance (opposite the RVI hospital, on Queen Victoria Road). The King’s Hall is straight ahead of the main foyer. This is an accessible entrance.

Alternatively, you can enter the Armstrong Building via the side entrance, off the Quadrangle. Once in the building, head along the main corridor, through a set of double doors, and the King’s Hall is on your left. Please note there are steps up to this entrance from the Quadrangle.

Or you can enter the Armstrong Building from the back courtyard area, opposite the Student Forum, by the Martin Luther King statue. This is an accessible entrance.

There are toilet facilities off the main corridor on the ground floor, including an accessible toilet which also has a baby changing unit.

Parking on campus

There is no parking available on the Newcastle University Campus during the day.

The nearest NCP car parks are:

  • John Dobson Street (NE1 8HL)
  • New Bridge Street (NE1 8AB)
  • Carliol Square (NE1 6UL)

Accessibility

The King's Hall is wheelchair accessible and has a hearing loop system. An accessible toilet is located in the foyer.
