Currently the Castle Leazes site comprises 17 accommodation blocks.
The design team has looked at several different ways that the redeveloped site could be laid out.
Demolishing the existing buildings is the only economically-viable option for redevelopment. This would also allow us to reconfigure how the site could be laid out.
