Giving back to the community
We provide an excellent legal education. We maintain a world class research environment. We also pride ourselves on the links we have built with the community at large.
Legal practitioners take part in our Advisory Board. Various staff members operate an alumni relations programme and pro bono programmes.
We ensure our students (present and former) have an opportunity to give back to the community. This helps recognise they were a part of that community while studying with us.
Our work with schools and colleges
Newcastle Law School is committed to working with schools in the local area and beyond. Our aim is to let students from all backgrounds know that Law School is open to them.
We would like to give all students a real insight into what a law degree is like. Our work with Excelsior Academy was named ‘Pro-bono/Community Initiative of the Year’ at the 2019 Northern Law Awards.
