Extending Your Stay
We understand that your life in Newcastle doesn't end just because the academic year has.
We understand that many students require accommodation during the summer months. As summer is also a busy time for our teams’ preparing rooms for the upcoming academic year, availability is limited.
For undergraduate students currently living in university accommodation, we have a limited number of rooms available at Windsor Terrace. This accommodation features shared bathrooms and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and is available until 24 August.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer extensions for postgraduate students beyond 24 August.
We have reached out to couples and families to discuss their plans for the period after their current contract ends. Families will be contacted directly with further information.

How can I request to extend my stay in student accommodation?
If you are currently living in University-owned accommodation and are considering staying over the summer, please keep an eye out for an email inviting you to express your interest. Room availability is limited, so we can't guarantee accommodation over the summer months.
