Extending Your Stay

We understand that your life in Newcastle doesn't end just because the academic year has.

We understand that many students require accommodation during the summer months. As summer is also a busy time for our teams’ preparing rooms for the upcoming academic year, availability is limited. 

We are currently finalising the details for Summer Extensions for 2025/26 and will contact students staying in University-owned accommodation in due course with further information.

We have reached out to couples and families to discuss their plans for the period after their current contract ends. Families will be contacted directly with further information.

How can I request to extend my stay in student accommodation?

How much does it cost to extend my stay in Newcastle University accommodation?

Summer accommodation will be available in Windsor Terrace for summer 2025.  There is a minimum booking requirement of one week and this is priced at £129.50 per week.
