Leazes Parade is located outside the city centre, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance of accessible by bus. The centre of campus is just under a 20 minute walk away.

Rooms and prices

Leazes Parade offers washbasin rooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge area. Rooms include a 3/4 sized bed (small double), storage, study desk and chair.

You'll benefit from CCTV, onsite gym, onsite laundrette, communal lounge, communal TV, vending machine, table tennis, table football and a garden. All utility bills are included, WiFi is free and they also provide personal possessions insurance via Endsleigh insurance.

Your safety is a top priority and the onsite security team are available to provide 24/7 assistance for your peace of mind.

Washbasin

Leazes Parade offers washbasin rooms exclusively for EU exchange students. For September 2024/25 applicants, there will be rooms of this type available.

Semester 1

Weekly Rate: £134.00

Semester Rate: £2,4546.00

Contract Length: Fixed term period of 19 weeks and covers the duration of the first semester. Rents are charged per night. If your contract differs to the fixed term period (i.e. earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges.

Semester 2

Weekly Rate: £134.00

Semester Rate: £2,814.00

Contract Length: Fixed term period of 21 weeks and covers the duration of the first semester. Rents are charged per night. If your contract differs to the fixed term period (i.e. earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges.

Holding fee and guarantor

You'll need to pay a £99 fee to secure your accommodation. Additionally, you'll need to provide a UK guarantor. A guarantor is someone, usually a parent or a guardian, who agrees to pay your rent if you miss a payment. If you're unable to provide a guarantor, you'll be asked to pay the full amount for your rent upfront.
