Some activities are specific to your course, while others will introduce you to opportunities and events across the wider University.

- most sessions are compulsory, but some are optional - this will be specified in the activity description.
Creative Practice PhD sessions
Please be aware that separate sessions will be held on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 September for Creative Practice PGRs.
These will take place in the Henry Daysh Building at the same time as the sessions for other Stage One PGRs .

10:30 to 12:00 - PGR Director talk (plus Q&As)
12:00 to 12:45 - Lunch with new and old PhD students, their supervisors, PhD convenors, PGR administrators, PhD module leaders and PGR director
12:45 to 13:15 - The PhD convenors meet and chat with the new PhD students in their respective Subject Groups
13:15 to 13:30 - Talk by UCU Anti-causalisation officer Caitlin Halfacre
13:30 to 14:00 - Tour of NUBS building and the open-plan PGR room
