Newcastle University Business School has been officially re-accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), one of the highest standards of achievement in business education.

Newcastle University Business School has been officially re-accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), one of the highest standards of achievement in business education.
EQUIS is a comprehensive quality review system for business and management schools.
The fundamental objective of EQUIS is to improve management education worldwide. EQUIS accreditation ensures an in-depth assessment of an institution’s research, teaching, and operations, benchmarking it against international standards in terms of governance and strategy, programmes, students, faculty, research, as well as internationalisation, ethics, responsibility and sustainability, and corporate engagement.
Its focus is on all management programmes offered by an institution from undergraduate to doctoral degrees. The EQUIS accrediting panel praised the Business School for the high quality of teaching and research and its focus on providing creative solutions to global challenges.
Newcastle University Business School has held EQUIS accreditation since 2010. Re-accreditation for 5 years recognises that the school has exceeded expectations in numerous areas and acknowledges the excellent achievements and outstanding commitment to continuous improvements.
The school is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). The EQUIS re-accreditation means that the Business School holds onto its place as one of an elite group of business schools worldwide that hold triple accreditation - one of just over 100 in the world to do so.
