MBA enters top 50 in Europe

Our MBA programme has entered top 50 in Europe overall.

The programme was also recognised for diversity, ranking 85th globally, and employability, ranking 44th in Europe.

On our MBA programme, students develop capabilities and knowledge that will set them apart in any industry or entrepreneurial venture. Students hone their leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills. They also work to improve their performance through a range of modules throughout the 12-month course.

MBA modules include:

  • Business in Action
  • Corporate Social Responsibility and the challenge of Ethical Business
  • Boardroom Challenge
  • Personal Development Experience

Dr Lucy Hatt, MBA Programme Lead at the Business School said: "I am very proud to see Newcastle University's MBA programme recognised among the top 50 globally in the QS rankings.

"We live in a paradoxical world. Technological and digital transformations demand our most fully human selves, especially our moral and ethical perspectives.

"In the face of potentially overwhelming existential threats from climate change, we have to hold on to the belief that our handprint can make a difference. In a world that is more globally connected than it’s ever been, we have to take a holistic view, whilst customising our offer to an individual scale.

"The Newcastle MBA enables learners to navigate these tensions and find their purpose through developing a deeper understanding of their strengths, articulating their passions, and understanding where best to focus their efforts in order to address the needs of the world today and tomorrow.

"We will continue to innovate and evolve, ensuring that the Newcastle University MBA remains a leading choice for people who want to make a positive difference in the world through doing business."
