Staff Profile
Background
I graduated with an MLitt English Literature in 2024, and a BA(Hons) in English Literature in 2019, from the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics at Newcastle University.
My MLitt Dissertation is titled "'My heart aches': Limits of the Human and Longing for Immortality in John Keats’s Poetry". My research interests include nature, science, feeling and emotion, and human experience in Romantic poetry, and Romantic-era literature and culture.
Prior to working in SELLL, I have worked as a Research Support Officer in the School of Arts and Cultures, and as a Student Admissions Assistant in both PG and UG Admissions teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
My role is to provide administrative support for the running of Undergraduate programmes in the School of English Literature, Language, and Linguistics. I am primarily responsible for administering the UG Assessment cycle, and liaising with External Examiners. I also provide support to the Undergraduate Learning and Teaching Administrator, and across the school office (including Reception duties).
