Roles and Responsibilities

As a member of the School Executive Team I work directly with the Head of School and senior leadership team in developing the School’s strategy, setting and monitoring targets and adhering to appropriate decision making processes.  The role of the senior team is to ensure the future sustainability, growth and direction of the School.  I am line manager to the Professional Services Team in the School.

Previous Positions

I have been employed at Newcastle University since 1997 in a variety of roles including Project Co-ordinator on the SAP Implementation Project and in the Executive Office working directly with the Deputy Vice Chancellor.  Prior to this I was employed as Executive Assistant to the Director of the School of Nursing at King’s College London.  In May 2010 I joined the School Of English Literature, Language and Linguistics as School Manager.
