  • Game elements in literature and gamification of life and characters in fiction writing

Brief Outline of Research Project:

The creative part, a novel, will try to make sense of a world where the apocalyptic warnings have been taken to an extreme and are happening in real time as well. However, it will focus on the human condition with more emphasis placed on a micro perspective rather than a macro perspective on the race as a whole. The critical part will examine whether the overload of climate fiction, post-apocalyptic, and dystopian fiction has served to numb us instead of rousing a fighting spirit.
