Project description
My project aims to investigate the EU and NATO’s environmental impact targets through the concept of reversibility by analysing how the environmental consequences of the defence sector challenge their green defence agendas. The overarching question that motivates this project is how a concept of reversibility could translate into policy – specifically, environmental military policy – and how this could add an ethical dimension to policy making.
Research interests
I am interested in political theory, intellectual history, ethics, and international institutions/global governance.
Personal interests
Outside of academia I enjoy pub quizzes, reading, and going to gigs/festivals.
