Open Access

Open access enables free online access to research publications with limited restrictions over reuse. Newcastle University encourages and supports this as an invaluable way to maximise the visibility and impact of research (see the University Open Access Policy). The open access team provide support with making papers eligible for REF, meeting research funder requirements, open access funding, including open access block grants and publisher agreements, and archiving publications in ePrints.
