MyImpact
Record and manage your research projects and publications
MyImpact is the university system used to record and manage details of research and publications. This information is used to promote university research via staff web profiles, publication lists and ePrints. MyImpact is also used to manage publications for submission to REF and ensure they meet the REF open access requirements. Therefore it is important that you check MyImpact regularly to ensure that your information is current.
To help keep your MyImpact profile up-to-date, when a publication is accepted, manually add the author acccepted manuscript to MyImpact (see the Research Publications and Copyright Policy). Publications are also imported automatically from Scopus. However, as Scopus may not capture all of your publications, manual upload will guarantee your details are included.
Publications in MyImpact can be shown on staff web profiles. You can choose which publications are shown and in what order, as well as control which university web site your profile appears on.
MyImpact also allows you to upload the full text of your publications so that they can be made open access in ePrints. In most cases this will allow your publications to meet the open access requirements for REF and those of many research funders.
