Background

I'm a senior manager at Newcastle University Library involved in strategic and operational planning, team management and the delivery and support of systems and services.

I have 20 years experience as a project manager on a wide range of IT and library service developments.

My main interests are the digital humanities, research support, open access publishing, resource licensing and collections management.

I'm also a freelance writer with a specific interest in television and cultural history.
