I am a Faculty Liaison Librarian within HASS, with specific responsibility for the following Schools:
- Geography
- Politics
- Sociology
- The Business School
- Architecture, Planning and Landscape
- Education, Communication and Language Sciences

Together with my job share, Karen Crinnion we provide teaching, learning and research support.
- Prior to this role I have worked in range of areas within the Library including Customer and Technical Services as well as supporting the SAgE Faculty as a Liaison Assistant. I was also an Assistant Librarian for Business, Tourism and Work Based Learning at Sunderland University.
- Topics in which I’m currently interested include marketing and communications, reading lists and our system Leganto and developing information literacy skills.
- I'm a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy
- I am a Chartered member of CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals)
- I am also a member of the Business Librarians Association (BLA) and Architecture Librarians Group (ARCLIB).
I offer bespoke learning and teaching materials to support students in developing information and information literacies, from Undergraduate Stage 1 up to and including Postgraduate research level.

I am module leader for HSS8002 : Information Skills (Social Sciences strand) This module is part of the HASS Postgraduate Research Training Programme.
