Aims
The module provides an introduction to key theories of management and organisation that start to build a foundation for the business and management discipline. It seeks to help students to understand the concepts and principles associated with business and management and to be able to evaluate and interpret them in this context.

Teaching Rationale And Relationship
Lectures are used to present the students with the knowledge base upon which they can develop their understanding of the subject area.
Seminars are used to test understanding of the knowledge base and to develop an understanding of the practical implications of this knowledge base in specific situations.
