Aims

-To define what the key trends are in contemporary marketing.
-To explore these trends through case-studies, databases, journal articles and other mediums.
-To explore these trends through formative discussions and summative assignments.

Outline Of Syllabus

Each week a key theme will be identified, defined and discussed.
A session will allow students to discuss their summative assessment with the module leader (formative)
Based on formative feedback, one key theme discussed in the semester will be explored in detail in a summative assessment.

Teaching Rationale And Relationship

Lectures will give students the chance to identify and understand what trends exist, and how these trends have been discussed in the extant literature and why they are important socially and epistemologically.
Lectures focus on different domains will help students explore trends of the market and research in detail, which will be useful for summative assessment as well as dissertation topic preparation.
