Newcastle University Protein and Proteome Analysis

This core facility was set up to support researchers' protein and proteome analysis needs within and outside of the University.

About

Newcastle University's Protein and Proteome Analysis Facility consists of three highly complementary units:

  • Biological Mass Spectrometry
  • Protein Purification
  • Molecular Biophysics

Our main focus is protein science: protein identification and quantification, mass, size, shape, and the interactions of proteins. We are also experienced in a wider range of biomolecules (such as carbohydrates or nucleic acids).

We provide support to internal researchers as well as external academic and commercial organisations.
