We are hosting 3 English Discover days in May for year 12 students

Bring your year 12s to Campus to discover English at University.
We are hosting 3 English Taster days for your year 12 students to explore what studying at University is like. Each day starts at 10:00am and finishes at 15:00pm. During the day students will partake in a academic led lecture, followed by a seminar to dicuss the theme of the day.
- Monday 13th May: English Literature - The English Country House in Literature and Culture
- Wednesday 15th May: English Language and Lingustics - English Dialects, Past and Present
- Monday 20th May: Creative Writing- Creative Writing practices

To attend one of these events, school and college staff can claim up to £250 for state school and college group travel.
Where possible, we don’t want the cost of travel to be a limiting factor in attending our on-campus events. If you’re concerned that the £250 limit will prevent your school group from accessing campus, please get in touch to discuss this further
