Eddie is working on developing his master’s dissertation into a research paper focusing on privacy-enhancing hardware technologies, specifically novel mechanisms for reliable privacy control and indication in microphone-enabled devices.

He recently completed an MComp in Computer Science (Cyber Security) at Newcastle University, and served as president of NUSU’s Cyber Society from 2022 to 2024.

Eddie's research interests include privacy-enhancing hardware technologies, tangible privacy, and embedded systems security.
