Join us on campus for our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Open Days.
During our Open Days, you’ll have an opportunity to:

- attend subject sessions and learn more about our computing courses and research opportunities
- chat with our academic staff, admissions teams, and current students
- find out about student life, our community and support
Offer Holder Experience Days
If you’ve received an offer to study an undergraduate course at Newcastle, our on-campus Offer Holder Experience Days are a chance to:
- chat with our admissions team, teaching staff, and current students
- join our computing lab and taster lectures
- ask questions about our courses, student life, and living in Newcastle
- learn more about the support and community you can expect at the School of Computing
- join our campus and accommodation tours
- ask any questions at the Student Services fair
The event was very insightful in seeing how the course is run, and speaking to the students encouraged me to pursue the course. I was reassured in terms of level of support given by the University.
Virtual events
Can’t visit us in person? We also offer Virtual Student Experience Events and Virtual Open Days which you can join. During these events, you can discuss:

- adjusting to life in Newcastle
I learned more about industrial placements, practical skill applications, competition opportunities, and scholarship results.
It was really useful to learn more about scholarships and hear different student experiences and a current lecturer's insights.
