Malaysia and the Royal College of Physicians
NUMed Malaysia works with the Royal College of Physicians to develop world-class postgraduate clinical and educational training opportunities in South-East Asia.
Royal College of Physicians
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) was founded almost 500 years ago. Its mission is to ensure that medicine is practised to the highest standards.
Today, in the 21st century, the RCP remains central to providing the best health services.
Education is a core function of the RCP. It takes an adaptive and flexible approach in helping physicians with their educational requirements.
The RCP has strong links with Malaysia and other countries in South-East Asia. It delivers clinical and educational continuing professional development programmes in the region. It also delivers postgraduate examinations.
NUMed Malaysia works with the RCP to improve the quality of patient care. We do this by providing quality, relevant and effective education and professional development. This is based on the best medical and educational practice and research.
Our shared aim is to improve access to medical education in Iskandar Malaysia and the wider region.
NUMed Malaysia and the RCP have been delivering postgraduate training to health service staff since 2011. The Talent Grooming programme has reached over 300 Malaysian doctors and health professionals.
