Sales and Service Tax (SST)
The following education-related charges are subject to SST:
- tuition fees
- registration fees
- admission charges
- co-curricular charges
- books and study materials charges;
- teaching aids/facilities charges; or
- any other charges or fees relating to education imposed by the institution.
For NUMed students, this tax will come into effect starting 1 September 2025.
Please note that all tuition fees displayed on this website are exclusive of SST. The 6% tax will be added where applicable.
Malaysian students are not subject to this tax.
