Working Experience:-

Working  in Faculty of Medicine at Asia Metropolitan University Bandar Seri Alam, Masai Johor and was attached there for 5 years. My role as a lab technician was to handle lab practical’s for Physiology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, Pathology, Biology and Microbiology classes for MBBS and Foundation program.

Current Role in NUMED:

Coordinating laboratory mainly for BMS and conducting lab practical for MBBS, BMS and Foundation study in Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia.

Skills:

• Performs routine laboratory procedures such as preparation of media and basic preparation of slides and smears.

• Conducts non-technical routine laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of professional staff.

• Sets up and operates laboratory equipment in preparation for specimen examinations.

• Opens, separates, numbers and arranges specimens for laboratory examination and trace results.

• Maintains simple laboratory records and inventory for supplies and reagents.

• Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies by cleaning and maintaining quality assurance records.

• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with standard laboratory practice and procedures

• strong practical and organisational skills with the ability to manage my own workload.
