NUMed Internal Research Project (NUIRP)

The NUMed Internal Research Project (NUIRP) that involves NUMed staffs or students, no matter as researchers or participants, MUST be approved by the NUMed Research Management Committee (RMC) BEFORE data collection activities begin.

NUMed Internal Research Project consists of NUMed Internal Research (NUIR) and NUMed Internal Research Grant (NUIRG). For research without requiring a budget (NUIR), the submission is open throughout the year. Meanwhile, for research requiring a budget (NUIRG), submissions open twice a year, that is: December and May. All NUIRG proposal submission MUST adhere to NUIRG Guidelines.
Publication Fund
- It is designed to cover expenses associated with the publication of research articles.
- The funding amount per publication must not exceed RM 10,000.
- Priority will be given to publication in Quartile 1 and Quartile 2 journals up to 100%.
- Publications in Quartile 3 and Quartile 4 journals will be covereed up to 50%.
Student Conference Fund
- The fund provides support a maximum of RM 600 for both local and international conferences.
- Its aim to empower student to improve their communication skills and consistently contribute to reputable conferences with indexed and high quality papers.
