Sports Facilities

EduCity Iskandar has a range of facilities available for students.

As a NUMed Malaysia student, you will have access to both the sports, social and recreational facilities provided on campus and to those provided by EduCity Iskandar Malaysia.

EduCity sports complex

The common facilities shared by all students at EduCity include a world-class stadium and sports complex, which opened in August 2013. This sports complex includes:

  • stadium with seating capacity of 14,000
  • outdoor arena and pitches for field sports and athletics
  • indoor arena and facilities for sports such as badminton, volley ball, etc
  • gymnasium and aerobic room
  • aquatic centre with 50-metre swimming pool

EduCity Hub

EduCity’s social and meeting hub is designed to encourage interaction between students from all institutions. The facilities include: 

  • food court with various food stalls
  • co-working space and student lounge
  • seminar and meeting rooms
  • jamming studios
  • ATMs

On-campus facilities

The facilities at the NUMed Malaysia campus include:

  • dance and yoga studios
  • recreation room with mini-gym and table tennis
  • Student Recreation Centre equipped with a pool table and wide-screen TV complete with Astro subscription
  • Student Association room
  • library with access of thousand books
  • meeting and discussion room
  • food truck
  • cafes
  • garden and social area
  • vending machine
