Following the announcement of the Government roadmap we can confirm that our Sport and Fitness facilities will open as follows:-
Outdoor Sports Facilities:
Reopen for organised outdoor sport on 29 March 2021.
Return of Athletic Union (AU) Club and intramural sport on 26 April 2021.
Indoor Sports and Fitness Facilities:
The new Gym and Strength and Conditioning Suite will open on 26 April 2021.  
Individual and household bubble sport will recommence on 26 April 2021.
From 17 May 2021 we will restart our Fitness Classes, AU Club activity and intramural sport.
Please note these dates are subject to change and dependent on the Government roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions.

  • 65 sports clubs
  • a mix of cardio, strength, HIIT, cycling and yoga classes every week
  • leagues, tournaments and competitions

We offer the chance to compete up to British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS), national and international level.

Household Sport

Looking for your sports fix? From week commencing 19th October, we are offering students living in University Accommodation the chance to play badminton, basketball, squash and table tennis within your households.
