Table Tennis
Join some of the best table tennis players from around the country at Newcastle’s Table Tennis Club.
The Table Tennis Club has five teams competing in the BUCS leagues. We also compete in competitions outside of BUCS each year, in national Grand Prix and local County events. As a club member, you also have the opportunity to join local teams in the Northumbria League.
Training is competitive but fun happening throughout the week in mixed group and individual sessions. There are social sessions throughout the week, where players of all abilities are welcome to join in.
Our Head Coach is three-time County Champion and former national player Graeme Barella.
Table Tennis is part of the University’s Racket Sports Programme with the aim to be one of the country’s top centres of excellence for racket sports.
