Coaching

Newcastle Elite Academy is a football academy set up by four Newcastle United players to provide the opportunity for young players to engage in high quality age specific football coaching programmes.

Delivered by a team of UEFA qualified coaches, our coaching programmes are structured and designed to replicate the standard of quality in professional football environments.

Coaching opportunities within both development centres and holiday camps at Newcastle Elite Academy.

Candidates further along their coaching journey may be able to seek to the opportunity to volunteer on the 16-19 elite education programme based on site at Newcastle University.

Video Analysis

This role offers the opportunity to be involved with the growing video analysis field at NEA.

Review, clipping, analysing, and presenting findings to the different teams within the programme.

NEA are looking for someone with a passion for football, good attention to detail and a technical awareness of the game.

Games are filmed on a weekly basis using VEO technology which can be shared so that work can be done remotely.

Strength & Conditioning

*Pre-requisite, must be a Sport Science student (Stage 3)

Opportunity to support and shadow the strength and conditioning programme at NEA.

Potential academic project to deliver testing through SS department to set up/ carry out and analyse findings of testing set undertaken with NEA squads.

NEA are looking for support to deliver 3 testing windows throughout the season, providing analysis and relevant feedback on the results. This should include baseline testing and 2 other windows of testing.

Marketing

Opportunity to volunteers as part of the NEA team through their marketing activities.  

NEA are looking for someone to help to build their social media profile and engagement activities throughout their programmes.

Work can be completed remotely. Further opportunity for match based photography for anyone who might be interested in this field.
