Our Educational and Applied Linguistics Integrated PhD is currently suspended. This means that we won’t be able to accept applications for this course.

Overview

We provide an 'academic apprenticeship model' where you’ll be fully supported from being a strong master's level student to becoming a successful doctoral student and ultimately to a university academic.

Each pathway contains modules led by leading experts in the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences.

The following research pathways are usually available:

  • Social interaction
  • TESOL
  • Cross-cultural communication
