Aims

This module is for students who are approved to take a period of study abroad at international partner institution. The Business School Postgraduate Semester Abroad refers to a semester spent undertaking the study of complimentary subjects at an overseas host University. Students will study with the host University on an exchange basis.

Outline Of Syllabus

Students will complete a semester of study at the host institution equal to 60 Newcastle credits (30 ECTS). They will be required to attend lectures and seminars and attempt all assessed work and exams as timetabled by the host institution.

Students will study business-related modules. Modules available vary at each partner and students should research the modules before they apply. Availability of modules will be constrained by pre-requisites and timetable availability. Students will submit a Learning Agreement confirming the modules that they would like to study and this will require approval from both Newcastle University and the host University. Students should focus on selecting modules which would complement/enhance their programme at NUBS or would enhance their employability after graduation.
