Aims
To provide students the opportunity to develop a feasible and rigorously researched business plan for a venture of their own design. Based on the knowledge and skills gained in the pre-requisite modules, the students will interact with customers, suppliers, and intermediaries to validate a business opportunity through the collection and analysis of relevant primary and secondary data. Students will develop a business plan, including the explanation and empirical support to justify a need in a target market, product and/or service design, intellectual property, strategic analysis, market entry strategy, operational design, marketing plan.

Teaching Rationale And Relationship
The supervisor will monitor student progress and resolve any issues that may arise while working on their business plan. Some meetings are in groups when the themes to discuss are related to the same stage of the business plan development process. Other meetings are individual to support the students with particular aspects of their work.

Assessment Rationale And Relationship
An in-depth full business plan allows the students to develop and practice each of its integrated components by collecting and using appropriate data.
The video pitch presentation will make students to develop their skills to convince and embark knowledgeable stakeholders regarding the business idea.
The individual reflection will make the students analyse and make conclusions about the inherent, non-linear process and choices related to the business planning.
