Staff Profile
My background is in the creative and cultural industries, primarily in music production. I also have an MA in Fine Art, for which I focused on building large generative sound art installations. My PhD is titled Creativity in Electronic Music: Unravelling the Sociocultural Fabrics of Expression. It is a cultural studies work which links theories of creativity with practices in the field, and expands upon those to examine the nature of creativity as part of the human experience.
I work for Arrow with individuals, organisations, and businesses in the creative and cultural sectors, linking them with the expertise and resources here at the university. Through those links I undertake research projects with them in order to help them explore new ideas, reach new audiences and new markets, and develop their creative and industry practice.
