A Levels
AAB or A*BB including at least grade A in Mathematics and excluding General Studies.
Scottish Qualifications
AAAAB (combination of Highers and Advanced Highers) with AB at Advanced Higher level and including Mathematics at Advanced Higher grade A.

International Baccalaureate
34 points with Mathematics grade 6 or above at Higher Level.
Irish Leaving Certificate

Access Qualifications
45 level 3 credits at Distinction including 15 level 3 credits in mathematics. A Newcastle University Mathematics and Statistics pre-entry course may also be required.

D3,D3,M2 in Principal Subjects including grade D3 in Mathematics.

Extended Project Qualification
We welcome applications from students offering an Extended Project and value the skills of research and independent learning that it is designed to develop. If you offer an Extended Project, it will be taken into account as part of your application profile, but we will not usually include it in offer conditions for this degree programme.
