International Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility

To apply you must already hold an offer to study at Newcastle University International Study Centre in one of our foundation programmes.

The scholarships are for the following courses:

• Architecture International Foundation
• Business and Management International Foundation
• Humanities and Social Sciences International Foundation
• Science, Computing, Engineering and Mathematics International Foundation
• Biomedicine, Biology and Pharmacy International Foundation

Value

Each scholarship is to the value of £20,000 or £10,000. You'll receive the scholarship in two parts:

• £10,000 or £5,000 will be deducted from your International Foundation tuition fees. 
• £10,000 or £5,000 will be paid towards your Year 1 tuition fees at Newcastle University

To get the second part of the scholarship you must successfully progress to a degree course at Newcastle University.

Scholarships, discounts and bursaries awarded by Newcastle University International Study Centre can’t usually be combined. You'll receive the scheme that is most beneficial to you.

Application deadlines

 If you're beginning your course in September 2024 you must submit your application by 30 June 2024.

 If you're beginning your course in January 2025 you must submit your application by 30 November 2024.
