Commercialisation
We have a number of intellectual property and commercialisation specialists who can advise on a range of different issues.
Driving factors
We recognise that research, innovation and entrepreneurship are crucial driving factors for us. They lead to long-term efficiency, competitiveness and economic growth.
The UK Government expects academic research to align with industrial requirements. They also expect a return on public funded investment.
Many medical technologies will only ever make it to the market and deliver patient benefits/cost savings through:
- appropriate protection
- diligent management
- effective commercialisation
These technologies include new medical devices, diagnostics and therapeutics.
