Newcastle University has a strong track record in providing high quality research training for clinicians from allied health, nursing and midwifery and other health professions on the NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) pathway and Fellowship scheme.
We have a well established pathway to support practitioners across the NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic pathway from internships to clinical and senior clinical lectureships.
We support applications to other funders, including the Royal College of Occupational Therapy and British Heart Foundation.
