Underpinning a breadth of biomedical science research across the University and beyond.
Our state-of-the-art technical facilities underpin our research, delivering key analytical technologies and expertise. The staff who operate our facilities are vitally important to the research that we do and our team science approach. They provide continuity of expertise, advise on best practice in data generation and analysis, all of which contributes to the important issue of data reproducibility and rigour.
To ensure they meet demand and deliver cutting-edge analytical technologies and methodologies they have received >£9.4m since 2014, secured from external income sources and FMS.
Our facilities support in excess of over 600 projects taking place from over 200 research groups. Since 2014, the they have facilitated over 750 publications where contributions by facilities staff were acknowledged by authorships in scientific literature.
