I work as a Senior Research Associate in the Structural Biology group led by Professors Jane Endicott and Martin Noble in the CRUK Newcastle Drug Discover Unit.
I obtained my PhD in 2005 from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, studying DNA minor-groove binders. I have since then worked continuously in the field of drug discovery, striving to apply molecular modelling techniques to back up experimental data, and expanding my skill-set by learning molecular biology and protein crystallography through a SULSA LEADERS award (2014).
I have a long standing interest in allosterically regulated targets.
